Xiaomi Auto Surpasses 300,000 Deliveries in Just 15 Months
On July 10, Xiaomi Auto announced that its cumulative deliveries have exceeded 300,000 units. The company expressed gratitude to its customers for their trust, stating, "After 15 months on the market, we have achieved 300,000 deliveries. We will continue to work hard and invest tenfold to create great cars." Previously, on March 18 of this year, Xiaomi Auto reached 200,000 cumulative deliveries. It took nearly four months to grow from 200,000 to 300,000 units. Currently, Xiaomi Auto offers three models for sale: the Xiaomi SU7, SU7 Ultra, and YU7. The YU7, Xiaomi's first SUV model, was officially launched on June 26. The new vehicle comes in three versions, with prices set at 253,500 RMB for the standard version, 279,900 RMB for the Pro version, and 329,900 RMB for the Max version. Within the first hour of sales, orders exceeded 289,000 units; by the 18th hour, the order volume surpassed 240,000 units. In terms of design, the YU7 adopts Xiaomi's family design language but differs significantly from the SU7. Lei Jun denied that the YU7 is simply a stretched version of the SU7. The front features a closed design, with cross-shaped LED daytime running lights, and the upper part serves as an air duct, while the lower part houses two lens light groups. The interior of the YU7 boasts a highlight with the Xiaomi Sky Screen, a 1-meter display integrated at the bottom of the windshield. The Xiaomi Surge OS car system allows for three interfaces to be displayed simultaneously and enables the transfer of smartphone applications to the car's screen, expanding the rear passenger's Pad screen for interactivity. It also allows for integration with Xiaomi's home ecosystem. For driver assistance, the YU7 comes standard with Lidar, 4D millimeter-wave radar, 11 HD cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars as part of its intelligent sensing hardware. It is powered by Nvidia's Thor in-car computing platform, offering 700 TOPS of computing power, a newly upgraded four-in-one domain control module, and the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform using a 4nm process. In terms of performance, the YU7 features Xiaomi's Super Motor V6s Plus across all versions, achieving a maximum speed of 22,000 rpm with significant improvements in power, torque, and speed. The YU7 Max boasts a dual-motor high-performance all-wheel-drive system with a maximum power of 690 PS, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.23 seconds and reaching a top speed of 253 km/h. Additionally, the standard version of the YU7 offers a CLTC range of 835 km, making it the longest range for a mid-to-large pure electric SUV; the all-wheel-drive version achieves a range of 770 km, the highest in its category. All YU7 versions are equipped with an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, achieving a maximum charging rate of 5.2C, allowing for a rapid charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes, and up to 620 km of range in 15 minutes.
