Chery's Fengyun A9L Starts Sales with Impressive Pre-Orders

On the evening of July 9, Chery Automobile announced that its Fengyun A9L model received 50,287 pre-orders within 24 hours of its launch. The Fengyun A9L was officially released on July 8, offering four variants with a price range from 139,900 to 197,900 yuan. There is also a promotional price drop of 10,000 yuan for trade-in purchases. The new model features a closed front grille and a continuous light strip at the front, semi-hidden door handles, and a rear design with a continuous tail light and a blackened rear bumper accented with silver trim. Available color options include Aurora Green, Xuanwu Grey, Cherry Red, Starlight Silver, Cloud Smoke Purple, and Ink Stone Black. Inside, the Fengyun A9L is equipped with a flat-bottom steering wheel, a column shifter, and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen. It features the Lingxi Smart Cabin 2.0 system and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 chip, supporting various mobile connectivity functions like CarPlay, Carlink, and Huawei HiCar. For intelligent driving assistance, the model is equipped with the Falcon 500/700 intelligent driving system, providing an automatic parking experience across over 300 scenarios. In terms of active safety, the Fengyun A9L supports the Advanced Emergency Steering (AES) function for obstacle avoidance at speeds of up to 135 km/h, and the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) can stop the vehicle at speeds up to 130 km/h. The performance specifications include a maximum power of 470 kW and maximum torque of 854 N·m for the all-wheel-drive version, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.9 seconds. Powered by the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM6.0 system, it boasts a comprehensive fuel consumption of just 0.52L/100km, with a charging time of only 15 minutes from 30% to 80%. The chassis is designed with a front double-wishbone independent suspension and a rear five-link independent suspension, while the luxury and all-wheel-drive versions come with adjustable suspension for enhanced comfort.
