Spy Shots of Electric Porsche Cayenne Interior Revealed
Recently, a set of spy shots revealing the interior of the all-electric Porsche Cayenne has surfaced. The new interior features a curved LCD instrument panel and a large wraparound display extending from the center console to the passenger side air vent, giving it a high-tech appearance. Below the large display and between the physical controls, there is also a small screen that enhances the user’s smart experience. Porsche is expected to launch the electric Cayenne in the second half of this year, with deliveries planned for 2026. Looking at the interior, the driver’s cockpit of the electric Cayenne creates a strong technological vibe through the extensive use of screens. The curved LCD instrument panel is among the largest in current new energy vehicles, promising excellent display quality. Porsche is likely to include multiple instrument display combinations, allowing users to select the classic five-gauge display. In addition to the wraparound large display, there is a small multimedia LCD screen in the center area, retaining chrome physical buttons below it. The wraparound large display is indeed eye-catching, and the center console features Porsche's iconic stopwatch design. The multifunction steering wheel is wrapped in leather, and although the center of the steering wheel is covered with camouflaging stickers, the Porsche shield logo is still visible. As for the exterior, the front headlight design closely follows that of the current Porsche Cayenne. The internal four-dot light sources are quite recognizable. Camouflage stickers on the exterior of the headlights simulate potential styles, appearing larger than the actual design, maintaining the traditional Porsche family resemblance. The front grille design has been modified, with vertical air intakes on both sides of the front bumper, combined with a large cooling vent in the center, giving the vehicle a sporty appearance. From the side, the electric Cayenne retains the relatively rounded and full look of the current model, but features low-resistance wheels typical of electric vehicles. Interestingly, despite being an electric model, the photographed electric Cayenne does not use hidden door handles, opting instead for traditional pull handles. At the rear, the spotted electric Cayenne features a dot-style taillight with square light sources arranged sequentially, and the high-mounted brake light above the rear window is quite prominent. The lower bumper has a new style that appears less sporty than the fuel version, leaning towards a more family-oriented design. The electric version of the Cayenne will share Audi's high-end pure electric PPE platform with the electric Macan, Audi A6 e-tron, and Q6 e-tron. It boasts an 800-volt architecture, capable of accommodating battery packs over 100 kWh and enabling ultra-fast charging. For reference, the electric Macan features a 100 kWh battery pack with a net capacity of 95 kWh. Given the larger body size of the Cayenne, it is expected to house a larger capacity battery. In terms of power, the high-performance dual-motor version of the electric Cayenne is expected to reach a maximum power output of 1,000 horsepower.
