Recently, a set of spy photos of the new generation Hyundai Elantra has been obtained, which will serve as the eighth generation (CN8) model, expected to be officially released in 2026. The new Elantra will primarily focus on upgrades in exterior and interior design, while the powertrain is anticipated to continue with the existing model's combinations without introducing any new energy vehicles. The spy photos show the vehicle still heavily camouflaged, but the exposed details indicate significant changes to the front fascia, likely featuring a split headlight design. Additionally, the vehicle's body contour is expected to draw inspiration from the Hyundai N Vision 74 concept car, enhancing its sporty feel. The powertrain is expected to remain similar to the current model, offering 1.6L gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas, and hybrid options in overseas markets, while the domestic market will provide 1.4T and 1.5L engines.
