On July 29, Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile Co., Ltd. held a cadre meeting to announce several personnel adjustments. According to the meeting report, Liu Xiaoping has been appointed as the Party Secretary of Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile Co., Ltd.; Bao Dan will serve as a member of the company's Party Committee and Deputy Party Secretary, and has been nominated as a candidate for the chairman of the labor union; Cheng Yuan has been appointed as the company's Deputy General Manager. This personnel adjustment involves key positions across the Party Committee, labor union, and management, representing a concrete measure for Dongfeng Liuzhou to optimize its organizational structure and advance its strategic implementation. As an important production base of Dongfeng Motor Group in South China, Dongfeng Liuzhou has been continuously promoting its 'new energy, intelligence, and internationalization' strategic layout. In the first half of 2025, the company's commercial vehicle segment achieved sales of 23,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 24.3%, with express freight tractors maintaining a top three position in the industry and port tractors seeing a year-on-year sales increase of 222%. Overall sales in the new energy sector grew by 41%, forming a multi-technology product matrix covering pure electric, hydrogen fuel, hybrid, and clean energy. In the passenger vehicle sector, the Fengxing brand has launched the Xinghai new energy series, with the first models, Xinghai V9 and Xinghai S7, already on the market. The company plans to release 11 new products within the year, achieving coverage across all categories including SUVs, MPVs, and sedans. The personnel adjustments coincide with the company's phase of deepening channel reform and exploring innovative models. Data shows that Dongfeng Liuzhou has expanded its efficient network scale to 79 by introducing new partners such as logistics companies and platform firms, significantly enhancing terminal efficiency. In 2025, the focus will be on core technologies in electrification and intelligence, and through the 'Dragon Action Project,' the company aims to integrate group resources to build technological competitiveness. Regarding the supply chain, the company has proposed to build a supply ecosystem of 'integration and symbiosis, shared benefits, and shared risks,' upgrading the procurement system from 'stable and competitive' to 'collaborative win-win and safe and efficient,' with a goal to achieve 40,000 sales in the new energy sector throughout the year. Liu Xiaoping, the newly appointed Party Secretary, stated at the cadre meeting that he will strengthen the mission responsibility and promote the deep integration of Party building with production and operation. Concurrently, the company clarified that its annual work will focus on eight core capabilities, including 'strategic operations, channel construction, and brand building,' planning to deepen the '1+M+N' digital marketing system and enhance brand visibility through a new media matrix and smart AI tools, aiming for a total exposure of over 430 million times for its brand accounts. Currently, the automotive industry is facing accelerated elimination of National IV standards and policy adjustments like cold chain logistics subsidies. Dongfeng Liuzhou is responding to market changes through product matrix expansion, supply chain optimization, and innovations in digital marketing. Following this personnel adjustment, the new leadership team will collaborate with all employees and partners to advance the company's strategic goals.
