Mercedes-Benz China Recalls Certain Imported A-Class, CLA, and GLA Vehicles

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automotive Sales Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation according to the requirements of the "Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products." The recall, numbered E2025M0087V, will begin on June 30, 2025, affecting 2,151 imported A-Class, CLA, and GLA vehicles produced between December 2, 2020, and December 12, 2022. Some of these vehicles may have a manufacturing issue where the nozzle shape on the turbocharger turbine housing does not meet standards, potentially failing to comply with emission requirements under specific driving conditions, thus posing an emission hazard risk. Mercedes-Benz (China) will offer free engine control unit software updates through authorized dealers to address the emission hazards. Owners will be notified of the recall via registered mail. For inquiries, users can call the service hotline at 400-818-1188 (available 24/7). More information can also be found on the recall center websites and through WeChat public accounts.
