Mercedes-AMG GT Track Sport Concept Teased Ahead of Munich Motor Show
Recently, sources from Chezhinet have revealed that the teaser images for the Mercedes-AMG GT Track Sport concept car have been released, indicating that a new member of the AMG GT family is on the way. The new car is expected to make its official debut at the Munich Motor Show this September. The Mercedes-AMG GT Track Sport will be based on the second-generation AMG GT launched in 2023. Although the teaser images do not disclose many design details, it is confirmed that the new model will feature an optimized front grille, a large diffuser, and NACA ducts. On the sides, the multi-spoke black wheels emphasize aerodynamic design and lightweight construction, and are expected to be paired with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 high-performance semi-slick tires. The rear is highlighted by a massive 'gooseneck' spoiler, enhancing its track attributes and providing substantial downforce at high speeds. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a V8 engine, although specific model details and parameters have not yet been disclosed. The transmission system will feature a new 6-speed sequential gearbox, optimized for gear ratios, which is expected to achieve breakthroughs in top speed. Chezhinet will continue to monitor and report on further developments regarding this new vehicle.
