Recently, Car Quality Network reported that the Wuling Star 730 will officially launch in October. The new vehicle is based on the Tianyu platform and is positioned as a mid-size MPV, featuring a 2+2+3 seating layout. It will offer three power options: a gasoline version, a plug-in hybrid version, and a pure electric version. In terms of appearance, the pure electric version of the Wuling Star 730 adopts a closed front grille design, retaining only the lower grille. The gasoline and plug-in hybrid versions are equipped with a large black front grille adorned with diamond-shaped decorations, giving it a sharp visual effect. The square front headlight units are equipped with dual horizontal LED daytime running lights for high recognizability, and small air intake vents are designed on both sides of the front bumper. The side profile is quite simple, featuring sliding doors and two-tone petal-style wheels that create a sense of sportiness. The rear exhibits strong layering, with the taillight strip design echoing the LED daytime running lights, giving it a nice technological feel. The new vehicle's dimensions are 4910mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1770mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2910mm. In terms of power, the gasoline version is powered by a 1.5T turbocharged engine with a maximum output of 130kW. The plug-in hybrid version integrates a 1.5L engine with an electric motor, where the engine delivers a maximum power of 78kW. The pure electric version has a maximum motor power of 100kW. The vehicle is equipped with battery packs of 54.5kWh and 60kWh, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 450km and 500km, respectively. More information about the new vehicle will be continuously reported by Car Quality Network.
