FAW-Volkswagen to Launch New SUV on August 5
Recently, Car Quality Network learned from FAW-Volkswagen that the new model, the Lingjing, will officially launch on August 5. The car has already begun pre-sales with a price range of 299,900 to 319,900 yuan. Additionally, the company offers a reservation deposit of 3,000 yuan which can offset 6,000 yuan worth of reservation rights. In terms of appearance, as a mid-term facelift model, the new Lingjing features a completely new exterior design. The front adopts a double grille style, with the upper part being a closed design that integrates with the headlamps, giving it a more fashionable look. Furthermore, the front is equipped with through-type daytime running lights, and the central logo can light up by itself. The lower part of the grille is enhanced with matrix chrome decorations, connected by black trim to the side air ducts, creating a dynamic atmosphere. The side design is quite minimalist, avoiding overly complex character lines. The addition of large two-tone wheels adds a sporty touch to the side profile. In terms of dimensions, the new vehicle measures 5168 (5143) mm in length, 2002 mm in width, and 1792 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2980 mm, and it will continue to offer a 7-seat layout. The rear design is robust, with through-type taillights echoing the front, and the internal light strip structure has been adjusted for better recognition when lit. Inside, the new model features Volkswagen's latest design language, equipped with three screens, enhancing its technological feel. The vehicle's system is powered by an 8155 chip, ensuring rapid response, and upgrades in navigation, entertainment, and voice functions. Notably, due to the adoption of a new gear shifter, a wireless charging panel has been added below the center console, aligning better with current consumer needs. In terms of power, the new Lingjing 450TSI model is equipped with the fifth-generation EA888 engine, offering a maximum power of 200 kW and a peak torque of 400 N·m, with a top speed of 200 km/h and a combined fuel consumption of 8.33 L/100 km. Car Quality Network will continue to monitor and report more information about the new vehicle.
