Li Auto Opens Reservations for New Model Li One on July 17
On July 17, Li Auto officially announced that reservations for its new model, the Li i8, have begun. The expected price range is set between 350,000 to 400,000 yuan, with the final price to be revealed at the product launch event on July 29. Meanwhile, on the same day, a vice president of XPeng Motors stated that actions are being taken against three individuals who have maliciously spread rumors and defamed the company. A special task force has been established to implement more severe penalties against such actions. Additionally, GAC Group has reached a cooperation agreement with Jameel Motors, a Saudi distributor, to sell GAC's vehicles in the UK, starting with two Aion brand electric models expected to be delivered by the first quarter of 2026. Faraday Future also announced a $105 million financing agreement, aiming to accelerate the development and delivery of its new FX Super One model and related technologies. Meanwhile, NETA's parent company has opened a pre-registration channel for potential investors as part of its restructuring process. In June 2025, Nissan's China division reported total sales of 53,843 vehicles, including passenger and light commercial vehicles, with a cumulative sales figure of 279,546 units for the first half of the year.
