Lantu FREE+ Set to Launch Soon with Impressive Features

On July 4, it was reported that the Lantu FREE+ is about to be launched. Additionally, on July 12, Lantu Motors will hold the '2025 Lantu User Night'. This year marks the fifth anniversary of Lantu Motors, which has surpassed 200,000 users. To celebrate its fifth anniversary, members of Lantu car clubs in cities like Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Shijiazhuang have spontaneously organized events, lighting up landmark screens with messages such as 'Wishing for the Lantu FREE+ to sell well, see you on July 12 in Wuhan'. Lantu believes in the spirit of 'listening to advice', having transformed nearly 100,000 pieces of user feedback into 1,366 product improvements, investing 500 million yuan for comprehensive upgrades. These upgrades include standard features such as Huawei ADS4 and HarmonyOS 5, luxurious interiors, and high-end technologies like the million-level EDC variable magic carpet chassis, all of which will be included in the upcoming Lantu FREE+. The vehicle will be equipped with the Huawei ADS4.0 driving assistance system and HarmonySpace 5, featuring an aluminum chassis with CDC electromagnetic damping for a balance of control and comfort, along with air suspension that supports 100mm height adjustment. In terms of power, the Lantu FREE+ will utilize a range-extended hybrid system, with a 1.5T engine as the range extender, available in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive versions, and a standard 45Wh lithium iron phosphate battery that offers a pure electric range of up to 235 kilometers and a comprehensive range exceeding 1,200 kilometers. For audio, the Lantu FREE+ boasts a 22-speaker Voyah Sound opera sound system with a 7.1.4 surround sound field and the industry's only dual headrest speakers, allowing for navigation and viewing without interference. For air quality, it features a CN95 ultra-efficient filter and AQS sensor with a PM2.5 interception rate of ≥95%. Additionally, it includes the only 7L cooling and heating box in its class, capable of cooling to 0°C in just 10 minutes. Pre-sales for the Lantu FREE+ began on June 24, with a starting price of 229,900 yuan. On June 25, Lantu Motors announced that the FREE+ model exceeded 10,000 reservations within 18 hours. Lantu Motors has seen continuous growth in sales; in the first half of this year, monthly sales surpassed 10,000 units again, reaching 10,053 vehicles, with a total of 56,128 units sold in the first half of the year, marking an 85% year-on-year increase.
