AITO's Wenjie Electric Vehicles Reach Cumulative Deliveries of 700,000 Units
On July 4, Kang Bo, Vice President of Seres Group, announced on social media that after 40 months, the cumulative delivery of Wenjie vehicles has reached 700,000 units. Wenjie, a new energy vehicle brand jointly created by Huawei and Seres, currently offers multiple models for sale, including Wenjie M9, M8, new M7, and new M5. The Wenjie M8 was launched on April 16 this year, offering three different configurations: Range Extender Max, Range Extender Max+, and Range Extender Ultra, starting at a price of 359,800 yuan. Positioned as a family smart flagship SUV, the vehicle measures 5190mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1795mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3105mm. The exterior features the family’s "Kunpeng Design Language," creating a visually striking profile with its long wheelbase and tall body. The overall stance of the vehicle is upright and elegant, showcasing a "top-tier standing" appearance. The Wenjie M9 is the technological flagship model created by Seres and Huawei, launched on December 26, 2023, starting at 469,800 yuan. At the launch event, it was announced that the Wenjie M9's pre-orders had surpassed 54,000 units. In March this year, the 2025 model of the Wenjie M9 was launched, starting at the same price of 469,800 yuan. The new model continues the family design language, featuring Huawei’s dual 1-million-pixel smart projection headlights and intelligent interaction matrix headlights for high recognition, emphasizing its tech-luxury positioning. The new vehicle offers two powertrain options: the range-extended model uses a new range extender engine code-named HG15T, with a power output of 118 kW. The all-electric version features a dual-motor layout, with a front motor producing a maximum power of 160 kW and a rear motor producing 230 kW, achieving a range of up to 630 km. According to public data, in June this year, Hongmeng Zhixing achieved a total delivery of 52,747 vehicles in a single month, with a daily delivery of 3,651 vehicles, setting historical highs for both monthly and daily sales, and announced itself as the monthly sales champion among new force car manufacturers. The Wenjie series delivered a total of 44,685 vehicles in June. The 2025 Wenjie M9 delivered 13,718 units in June, surpassing a cumulative 200,000 units, ranking first in sales within the 500,000 yuan market. The Wenjie M8 delivered over 21,185 units in June, dominating the 400,000 yuan market.
