CX-FUSION CORE DC-200: A Breakthrough in Autonomous Systems for Extreme Environments
As the gears of Industry 4.0 mesh deeply with the wave of intelligence, global industries are undergoing a historic leap from 'human-driven' to 'machine autonomy.' Robotic arms in factories are no longer confined to fixed positions, AGVs in logistics warehouses can autonomously plan optimal paths, and inspection robots in deep mines are replacing humans in hazardous areas. This is not a scene from a sci-fi movie, but a productivity revolution: unmanned systems have evolved from laboratory demos to the 'steel vanguard' supporting efficient operations in industries, logistics, and security. However, the complexity of the real world poses severe challenges for unmanned systems. In underground garages, GPS signals are blocked, causing robots to lose their way; in tunnels, not only is there a lack of signal, but the humid and dusty environment can also interfere with sensor data, affecting inspection accuracy; in campus logistics, dense crowds and vehicles, along with changing paths, demand extremely high real-time decision-making speeds; in industrial inspection scenarios, extreme conditions such as high temperatures and vibrations often cause traditional sensor equipment to fail, making stable operation difficult. The combination of these 'extreme environments + complex tasks' presents the 'final hurdle' for the large-scale deployment of unmanned systems. In March 2025, Chengxin Intelligent Connectivity launched the CX-FUSION CORE intelligent driving domain control terminal series product: DC-100. It opens the door for automation and intelligent applications for smart devices through mid-level computing power and multi-source fusion technology. The DC-100 employs tightly coupled fusion technology, integrating LiDAR, vision, and inertial navigation (IMU) to significantly enhance the precision, reliability, and robustness of equipment positioning and attitude estimation. Its multi-source sensor fusion mapping technology excels in key aspects such as time synchronization, data processing, fusion algorithms, and spatial calibration, enabling smart devices to possess strong environmental perception and real-time decision-making capabilities under harsh conditions such as complex environments, disrupted satellite signals, and high-speed motion, ensuring stable operation. Building on the technical experience accumulated from the DC-100, Chengxin Intelligent Connectivity officially launched the CX-FUSION CORE intelligent driving domain control terminal series product: DC-200 in July. This product aims to further push performance boundaries to address more complex scenarios. The DC-200, with its advantages of 'high computing power + deep multi-source fusion + strong adaptability across all scenarios,' equips smart devices with a 'powerful brain' capable of precise navigation and efficient decision-making in extreme environments, enabling machines that once 'stumbled' in complex scenarios to now perform every task reliably and stably like precision instruments. In April 2025, the DC-200 product successfully passed three assessments from the 'Wuhan High-Precision Unmanned Vehicle Positioning Perception Equipment Pilot Platform' regarding the core controller for unmanned equipment, high-precision navigation positioning product development and verification, and multi-sensor fusion system testing. This honor not only confirms the breakthroughs of the DC-200 in multi-source fusion technology but also marks its full-link capability of 'perception-decision-execution' in satellite-denied environments, establishing it as a benchmark for domestically produced intelligent equipment. The six technical highlights of the CX-FUSION CORE DC-200 include: 1. All-time, all-domain high-precision positioning: It features a built-in GNSS/IMU combined navigation module, supporting multiple system frequency points (BDS, GPS, etc.), with RTK horizontal accuracy reaching 0.7cm + 1ppm; when there is no satellite signal, it can still maintain ±5cm positioning using an optional high-precision IMU (with a low gyro bias instability of 1°/h), achieving centimeter-level positioning 'independent of external signals' in all scenarios. 2. High computing power and efficient data processing: Equipped with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, combined with an 8-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU (2GHz) and 16GB high-bandwidth memory, it can real-time fuse data from LiDAR, cameras, and other multi-source sensors, supporting millisecond-level decision-making for complex tasks such as SLAM mapping and dynamic obstacle avoidance. 3. Strong adaptability to extreme environments: Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C, storage temperature reaches -40°C to 95°C, and it has an IP65 dust and water resistance rating, allowing it to operate stably in extreme scenarios such as high temperatures, severe cold, heavy rain, and dust; the DC 9V~36V wide voltage design adapts to diverse power environments in vehicles and industry. 4. High expandability and compatibility: It supports communication protocols such as ROS and Ethernet, providing API interfaces for seamless integration with unmanned delivery vehicles, inspection robots, quadruped robots, etc.; equipped with 4x1000BASE-TX Ethernet, 7*CAN/CANFD, and 4*USB3.0 interfaces, it meets the needs for multi-device collaboration and secondary development. 5. Convenient integration and remote control: Compact size (228.5x168.8x53.9mm) and lightweight (1.3kg) make it easy to install and integrate; it has a built-in 4G universal communication module (supporting 5G/WIFI expansion), enabling remote control, real-time monitoring, and fault reporting via mobile or PC. 6. General compatibility for multiple scenarios: Widely applicable to unmanned delivery, campus logistics, industrial inspection, intelligent engineering machinery, etc., supporting autonomous operation indoors and outdoors, global path planning, and tracking obstacle avoidance, providing a one-stop autonomous driving domain control solution for diverse scenarios. The CX-FUSION CORE DC-200's practical performance in various application scenarios includes: Industrial inspection: A precise 'pathfinder' in high-temperature tunnels. In an 80°C underground tunnel, the CXGY-DC200 supports real-time 3D modeling with high computing power, ensuring efficient inspection work and high accuracy in fault detection, covering almost all possible issues. Its air-cooling design guarantees continuous stable operation in high-temperature environments, significantly alleviating overheating problems and becoming a reliable 'pathfinder' in tunnel inspection. Unmanned delivery: An efficiency 'accelerator' in campus logistics. In large logistics parks, facing dense crowds and GPS-denied areas, the CXGY-DC200's wide voltage can adapt to vehicle power supplies, and its 7 CAN interfaces can synchronize control of the chassis and cargo compartment, effectively increasing daily delivery volumes. Even in signal blind spots, the built-in IMU can maintain continuous positioning, minimizing delays and injecting strong momentum into efficient campus logistics operations. Intelligent engineering machinery: Ensuring operational accuracy with centimeter-level positioning (RTK accuracy of 0.7cm + 1ppm), the device adapts to extreme environments such as construction sites and mines with a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and IP65 protection, while multi-sensor fusion (supported by 100TOPS computing power) achieves obstacle avoidance in dust scenarios, and its rich interfaces (4x1000BASE-TX Ethernet, 7xCAN/CANFD) support multi-device collaboration; its compact size makes integration easy, significantly improving operational efficiency and safety. In summary, the CX-FUSION CORE DC-200 represents a 'performance reconstruction' of multi-source fusion control terminals, rather than a simple technical upgrade. It aims for comprehensive compatibility to adapt to complex scenarios and high-speed communication to open up collaboration links. In the future, the CX-FUSION CORE DC-200 is expected to help unmanned devices break through application limitations from 'structured scenes' to 'extreme unstructured scenes,' providing important support for the development of the intelligent era.
