On July 11, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. announced the publication of its patent for a 'Companion Robot,' as reported by Gaishi Auto. The summary indicates that this disclosure pertains to the field of robotic design technology. The companion robot includes a base, support frame, functional mechanisms, a cover, an inflation mechanism, and a control unit. This system is capable of independently recognizing traffic lights and can operate to pick up and drop off individuals, significantly improving usability. In April of this year, Chery announced that it had completed the first global delivery of 220 units of its humanoid robot, developed in collaboration with the AiMOGA team. According to public records, Anhui Mojia Intelligent Robot Technology Co., Ltd. was established on January 7, 2025, with a registered capital of 100 million RMB, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd.
