BMW M2 CS Sets New Record for Compact Cars at Nürburgring
Recently, it was reported that the BMW M2 CS has set a new record for compact cars at the Nürburgring with a time of 7 minutes and 25.534 seconds, earning the title of 'Fastest Compact Car at Nürburgring.' The new car, although camouflaged during the race, showcased its overall shape and some details that closely resemble the previously released official images of the M2 CS. The iconic kidney grille remains prominent, complemented by newly designed headlights that provide a strong visual impact. The side profile features straight lines that enhance the car's muscular appearance. The rear design is well-defined, with an upward-facing spoiler on the trunk and a dual exhaust system that contribute to a sporty atmosphere. Thanks to its newly designed body kit, the car achieves improved aerodynamic performance, ensuring better stability at high speeds. The impressive performance at the 'Green Hell' is backed by its powerful drivetrain. The new model is equipped with a 3.0L twin-turbocharged engine, producing a maximum power of 530 horsepower and a peak torque of 479 Nm, allowing it to maneuver effortlessly on the track due to its lightweight body. Previously, the record for compact cars at Nürburgring was held by the Audi RS3, and the BMW M2 CS has surpassed it by nearly 8 seconds, showcasing its formidable overall strength. More information about the new car will be continuously reported by Car Quality Network.
