Recently, it was reported by Chezhixian that Leapmotor's first compact sedan, the Leapmotor B01, is set to launch in late July. The vehicle has already started pre-sales, offering five configurations with a price range of 105,800 to 135,800 yuan. In terms of design, the Leapmotor B01 features a futuristic closed front grille paired with narrow daytime running lights, emphasizing a strong technological vibe. At the rear, it sports a continuous taillight cluster, mirroring the shape of the front light assembly. The dimensions of the car are 4770mm in length, 1880mm in width, and 1490mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2735mm. Inside, the B01 adopts a geometric hollow design, featuring six 'magic expansion docks' and a rectangular groove structure in front of the passenger seat, which supports folding tabletops and smartphone holders among other accessories. In terms of smart features, the new model is equipped with the world's first automotive-grade Qualcomm 8295 chip built on a 5nm process, combined with the Leapmotor OS 4.0 Plus system, enabling a 3D dynamic desktop and seamless interactive effects. For powertrains, the entire lineup comes with a rear-mounted motor, offering two power options of 132kW and 160kW, alongside lithium iron phosphate battery options of 56.2kWh and 67.1kWh, providing electric ranges of 550km and 650km respectively.
