Great Wall Motor has officially launched the all-new generation of its Haval H9 off-road SUV. The new model is available in both gasoline and diesel versions, with a total of four trim levels. Prices start at 218,800 yuan for the gasoline version and 228,800 yuan for the diesel version.
The new Haval H9 sports a much more rugged and boxy design than its predecessor, with round headlights and a prominent front grille that give it a classic off-road look. The vehicle also features a side-hinged tailgate and an externally mounted spare tire.
The H9 measures 5070mm in length, 1960mm in width, and 1930mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm. It is a body-on-frame SUV, designed for serious off-road capability.
The interior has been completely redesigned, with a large floating central screen and a full digital instrument cluster. The materials and overall design give the cabin a more modern and premium feel.
The gasoline version is powered by a 2.0T engine producing 165 kW of power and 385 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The diesel version uses a 2.4T engine with 137 kW and 480 Nm of torque, matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Both versions come with a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system with multiple driving modes.
