Zhijie Unveils New Large SUV Test Spy Photos, Possibly Named Zhijie R9
Recently, we obtained a set of test spy photos of Zhijie's new large SUV from related channels. According to the new product plan announced by Hongmeng Zhixing, the new vehicle may be named Zhijie R9, positioned as a full-size luxury SUV, which is set to be officially launched in November. The spy photos reveal that the vehicle is still in the early testing phase, showcasing the family design style of Zhijie with prominent headlights, although the thick camouflage on either side obscures the details of the light group. The new SUV features a large front hood, with noticeable changes in the seam area compared to the Zhijie R7. As a member of the Zhijie family, it is expected to incorporate 'brilliant starlight' decorations to enhance its luxury appeal. On the side, the new vehicle has a distinct recessed design at the B-pillar, a result of an extended body and wheelbase. The rear windows are relatively large, and combined with the rear profile, it gives off a station wagon vibe. The rear is still in the prototype phase and is expected to feature a continuous tail light design. Inside, the front cabin maintains the design style of the Zhijie R7, including a small-sized steering wheel, a large floating central control screen, and a fully digital instrument panel. It is anticipated that the new vehicle's power system will also offer extended range and pure electric versions.
