Xpeng's First Overseas Manufacturing Base Officially Begins Production
On July 24, He Xiaopeng, Chairman of Xpeng Motors, announced that the company's first overseas manufacturing base has officially commenced production. The first locally produced Xpeng X9 in Indonesia was delivered to an Indonesian owner on July 23, marking a milestone in Xpeng's global localization strategy. Meanwhile, NIO announced that its 800,000th production vehicle came off the line at its advanced manufacturing facility in Hefei. The model, NIO L90, will officially launch on July 31 and begin deliveries on August 1. Additionally, Chery's iCAR brand will unveil its new model, iCAR V27, in Dubai on August 1, with the brand set to be renamed iCAUR in overseas markets. Changan Automobile has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Haier Group to explore deep collaboration in the smart home ecosystem, aiming to create a seamless connection between vehicles and home devices. Recently, NIO Holdings has increased its registered capital from approximately 8.257 billion RMB to around 11.115 billion RMB. Faraday Future's second brand, FX, has launched its first model, FX Super One, and is collaborating with Great Wall Motors to enter the U.S. market.
