Xpeng Motors Achieves Milestone of 800,000 Deliveries
On July 11, Xpeng Motors officially announced that its cumulative delivery volume has surpassed 800,000 units. This figure not only highlights the remarkable progress in the development of smart electric vehicles in China but also echoes the company’s dual achievements in technology advancement and market expansion. Xpeng has shown strong market performance recently, with new car deliveries reaching 35,000 units in June, marking a year-on-year increase of 224%, maintaining over 30,000 monthly deliveries for eight consecutive months. In the first half of the year, Xpeng delivered a total of 197,000 new cars, surpassing its total projected volume for the entire year of 2024. Driving this success is Xpeng's strong intelligent branding; in June, the monthly active user penetration rate for its XNGP urban intelligent driving feature climbed to 85%, becoming an essential partner for users in their daily driving. Continuous technological exploration remains a focus, with the launch of the 'Chase Light Panorama' vehicle-mounted AR-HUD in collaboration with Huawei on June 5, marking a new industry milestone. The diverse product lineup has been key to Xpeng's steady sales growth. The main model, G6, continues to sell well thanks to its leading AI driving and 5C ultra-charging technology, with 8,700 units delivered in June. In the segmented market, the X9 pure electric MPV saw a 112% quarter-on-quarter surge in deliveries to 7,451 units in the second quarter, clinching the top sales spot in its segment for two consecutive months. The MONA M03 series continues to lead in the A-class pure electric sedan market, with the high-spec Max version maintaining a stable order ratio of over 80%. Notably, the new flagship model, Xpeng G7, is positioned as a strategic vehicle for the year, equipped with three Turing AI chips, achieving a computing power of over 20 trillion operations per second, and is recognized as the 'world's first L3 level AI car' with a fully local visual language integration model. After its pre-sale began on June 11, the G7 saw over 10,000 orders within just 46 minutes, and its pre-sale price of approximately 240,000 yuan, combined with its powerful intelligent features, is expected to serve as a strong new engine for Xpeng's delivery volume following its launch on July 3. As Xpeng expands internationally, its footprint is rapidly extending globally. In the first half of 2025, its overseas sales reached 18,700 units, exhibiting a significant year-on-year growth of 217%, and achieving the top sales position among new force brands in ten countries, including Ireland and the Netherlands. After topping the list for new force brand exports in China in 2024, Xpeng has designated 2025 as its 'year of accelerated internationalization,' planning to enter over 60 countries globally and establish more than 300 sales and service outlets. Its core differentiating advantage—advanced driver assistance technology—is being meticulously prepared for overseas application, paving the way for further enhancement of its global influence. Since the announcement of a strategic partnership with the Volkswagen Group in 2023, the collaboration has deepened, aiding Xpeng in becoming the export champion among new forces in 2024. Volkswagen's substantial resources and brand strength in the global market have empowered Xpeng's overseas expansion efforts; for instance, Xpeng has successfully entered the markets of Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Additionally, Xpeng has signed official agency cooperation agreements with leading automotive distribution companies Inchcape and the well-known European dealer group Hedin Group. Regarding the partnership with Volkswagen, He Xiaopeng stated, 'The collaboration between the 'big' and the 'small' will bring the best technology, the best products, and the best brands to the world.' The milestone of 800,000 deliveries clearly marks Xpeng Motors' strategic trajectory of using intelligent technology as a spear and global expansion as a shield. As intelligent driving moves from the laboratory to the daily roads of global users, Xpeng Motors is driving Chinese manufacturing into a broader horizon.
