Recently, Volvo released official images of the XC70, introducing a new color called Desert Sand. Previously, the vehicle was available in two exterior colors: Pine Lake Green and Dawn Gray, with more color options expected in the future. The new model is set to begin pre-sales in August. In terms of design, the Volvo XC70 adopts the family style of new energy vehicles, featuring design elements from the EX90 such as the 'Thor's Hammer' LED daytime running lights and a newly styled Volvo emblem. The front end showcases a closed design, reflecting a simple yet high-tech aesthetic. The side view includes black exterior mirror housings and semi-closed wheel rims, blending sporty and technological elements. At the rear, the vehicle is equipped with multi-segment LED taillights, officially referred to as 'Viking Axes', extending upwards to the sides of the rear window, making it easily recognizable. The dimensions of the new model are 4815mm in length, 1890mm in width, and 1650mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2895mm. In terms of power, the Volvo XC70 is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system, with the engine delivering a maximum power of 120 kW. The power battery options include lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium batteries, with specific capacity and range details yet to be disclosed. More information about the new vehicle will be continuously reported by Chezhinet.
