On July 16, Time Technology announced a $1 billion procurement agreement with UAE-based Autocraft. The deal involves the purchase of 350 E20 eVTOLs, aimed at promoting the commercialization of E20 eVTOLs in low-altitude tourism and aerial travel across the Middle East and North Africa. The collaboration seeks to accelerate the large-scale deployment and operation of new low-altitude travel models. The E20 is Time Technology's flagship model, featuring a tilt-rotor design that offers both vertical take-off and landing capabilities along with efficient cruising performance, boasting a maximum range of 200 kilometers and a cruising speed of 260 kilometers per hour, with a top speed of 320 kilometers per hour. It is particularly suitable for intercity and urban travel scenarios, demonstrating significant advantages in safety, economy, and adaptability. Autocraft has been investing in cutting-edge technology with the goal of positioning the UAE as a leader in aerial transportation solutions. This partnership will leverage Autocraft's strengths in policy resources, geographical advantages, operational practices, and local market knowledge, alongside Time Technology's deep technical expertise in eVTOL product development, manufacturing, and system integration, to advance the pilot deployment and commercialization of E20 eVTOLs in various regions of the Middle East and North Africa. Additionally, on the signing day, technical teams from Time Technology and representatives from the UAE's Civil Aviation Authority engaged in detailed technical discussions on the airworthiness certification path, operational management rules, and regulatory coordination mechanisms for the E20 eVTOL, laying a solid foundation for its commercial application in the UAE market. Time Technology stated that this $1 billion order represents not only a key breakthrough in the overseas expansion of the E20 eVTOL but also serves as a model for technological cooperation between Chinese and Arab enterprises under the Belt and Road Initiative.
