TIER IV Develops End-to-End L4+ Autonomous Driving Architecture
On July 15, autonomous driving open-source software supplier TIER IV announced the development of an end-to-end L4+ autonomous driving architecture, which operates without human intervention even in unprecedented scenarios. This architecture is set to be gradually introduced in mobility services at 50 locations across Japan in early 2026 as part of a large-scale demonstration to evaluate its practical performance and capabilities.
