Third Generation Changan UNI-V Officially Launched for Pre-Sale

Recently, Chezhuwang obtained official information that the third generation Changan UNI-V has officially opened for pre-sale, with a starting price of 114,900 yuan. The new vehicle is designed based on the 'Future Pioneer Sports Aesthetic' design language and offers two power options: 1.5T and 2.0T. The new model is expected to be officially launched in August. The exterior features a shark-nose bionic design at the front, with a unique geometric design created by the combination of straight and angled lines. The horizontally arranged headlights are elongated, while the lower part has a three-section air intake, and the exaggerated size of the side air intakes enhances the sporty atmosphere of the vehicle. Additionally, the raised lines on the engine hood further amplify the sporty vibe. On the side, the long engine hood and smooth fastback roof line outline the overall profile, with the fastback design emphasizing the sporty character. At the rear, the new model uses popular through-type taillights, combined with the raised rear lines and a quad exhaust layout, which again reinforces the sporty traits of the vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with an electrically adjustable rear spoiler that can automatically rise with speed. The interior design presents a clean and dynamic style, featuring a new design of the LCD instrument panel paired with a large suspended central control screen, catering to the needs of young users. The steering wheel is equipped with a dedicated SUPER RACE 3.0 button, along with a dual D-shaped sporty steering wheel, paddle shifters, and a wind blade-shaped gear knob, significantly enhancing the sporty feel of the interior. In terms of power, the 1.5T model is equipped with a 500Bar ultra-high pressure new Blue Whale engine, delivering a maximum power of 141 kW; the 2.0T model features the new Blue Whale engine with a maximum power of 180 kW. For transmission, the 1.5T engine is paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, while the 2.0T engine is matched with an 8-speed automatic manual transmission.
