Tank 400 Hi4-T/Hi4-Z Laser Radar Version Spotted in MIIT Declaration Directory
Recently, according to sources from Chezhijia, the Tank 400 Hi4-T/Hi4-Z laser radar version models have appeared in the MIIT declaration directory. The new vehicles maintain the existing off-road capabilities while further integrating laser radar components to enhance overall environmental perception, especially providing more reliable driver assistance in off-road conditions. In terms of appearance, the two models do not show significant changes in design. The laser radar is integrated at the front of the roof, consistent with common industry arrangements, and can only be clearly identified through detailed enlargement images. Based on platform classification, the Hi4-T is more oriented towards traditional rugged off-road positioning, featuring a body-on-frame structure and a non-decoupled four-wheel drive system suitable for complex terrain traversing. In contrast, the Hi4-Z caters to a 'general off-road' demand, equipped with a four-wheel drive system and a differential lock, offering some terrain adaptability, making it suitable for both daily commuting and light off-road scenarios. The declaration information indicates that both Tank 400 Hi4-T and Hi4-Z models share the same body dimensions, measuring 4964mm in length, 1970mm in width, and 1905mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm. Regarding the curb weight, the Hi4-T weighs 2770kg, while the Hi4-Z is slightly heavier at 2950kg. In terms of power, the Tank 400 Hi4-T is equipped with a combination of a 2.0T engine and an electric motor, with the engine's maximum power at 185kW and the total power of the electric drive system estimated at 120kW, allowing for a combined system total power of up to 300kW, ensuring sufficient power output even in complex off-road environments. More information about the new vehicles will be continuously reported by Chezhijia.
