On July 26, at the 8th World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), Shanghai officially issued a new batch of demonstration operation licenses for smart connected vehicles, with Loobo Kuaipao among the first to be approved. Following the issuance of these licenses, users can enjoy innovative experiences brought by autonomous driving in key functional areas of Pudong, including Jinqiao, Huamu, and Expo. Loobo Kuaipao was also selected for this year's China Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Achievement Exhibition and is providing L4-level autonomous driving shuttle services for this WAIC. In recent years, to achieve the goal of becoming a leading area for high-level autonomous driving, Pudong has been continuously promoting innovation and implementation of smart driving technologies. Currently, Pudong has built a high-standard environment for 1,000 kilometers of high-level autonomous driving testing roads, creating a comprehensive and diverse testing environment to provide a large-scale verification platform for application deployment. With the opening of the third batch of autonomous driving testing roads in Pudong New District, the total length of open testing roads in Shanghai has exceeded 2,700 kilometers, covering parts of the central urban area within the inner ring. This year, Loobo Kuaipao has accelerated its global expansion. Recently, it reached a cooperation agreement with Uber to integrate thousands of driverless cars into Uber's global mobility network, being the first to deploy Loobo Kuaipao's sixth-generation driverless vehicles in Asia and the Middle East. So far, Loobo Kuaipao has provided over 11 million rides for global users, with a total safe driving mileage exceeding 170 million kilometers.
