On July 28, Lantu announced that the all-new Zhiyin will officially launch at the end of August. This vehicle targets the 250,000 RMB market segment, featuring core configurations such as 5C ultra-fast charging across the entire range and an 800V platform. It is also equipped with Huawei's Kan Kun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 and HarmonyOS cabin HarmonySpace 5. In terms of electric technology, the Lantu Zhiyin comes standard with 5C ultra-fast charging and an 800V platform, focusing on improving charging efficiency, which distinguishes it from competitors like the Tesla Model Y and Xiaomi SU7. Regarding space, the vehicle boasts a 90.8% usable area rate, a super long wheelbase of 2925mm, 5.2㎡ of practical space, and 1038mm of rear legroom, making its spatial practicality a key selling point. Another highlight of the Lantu Zhiyin is its intelligent system. The vehicle adopts Huawei's Kan Kun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 and HarmonySpace 5, creating a dual smart configuration for 'driving - interaction.' To ensure technical compatibility, Lantu collaborated with Huawei for 13 months, covering various dimensions including advanced driver assistance perception and decision-making, cabin interaction optimization, electric efficiency calibration, and EDC magic carpet chassis, completing thousands of hours of real-world testing. Lantu has further clarified its cooperation model with Huawei. According to Li Boxiao, the deputy general manager of Lantu Automobile Sales and Service Co., Ltd., the two companies are not simply in a supplier relationship but are 'comrades venturing into the deep waters of intelligence,' committed to building a 'Chinese technology community.' This collaboration is reflected in the deep integration of technology: for instance, the Lantu FREE+ model's full aluminum chassis and EDC magic carpet chassis serve as the hardware foundation, with Huawei's intelligent system at the core. The partners have conducted extensive real-world testing in extreme environments such as deserts, snowy highlands, and humid rainforests, accumulating thousands of hours of verification to achieve technical compatibility. In terms of technological iteration, both parties focus on actual user scenarios, such as optimizing ride comfort over bumpy roads to enhance the passenger experience and improving response capabilities for complex road situations, rather than merely pursuing parameter metrics. In market positioning, the new Lantu Zhiyin will synergize with the 'Intelligent Driving and Enjoying Large 5-Seater SUV' FREE+, covering the market for 'pure electric SUVs + hybrid SUVs' under 300,000 RMB. To ensure delivery, Lantu has initiated a second factory, which has greater capacity than the first to meet market demand. Currently, pre-orders for the FREE+ model have surpassed 20,000 units, significantly increasing delivery pressure.
