NxLite Launches Industry's First Low-E Coating for Polycarbonate and Acrylic
NxLite™, a clean technology innovator, has announced the launch of the NxLite L80 coating, which is the industry's first low-emissivity (Low-E) sputter coating applicable to polycarbonate and acrylic sheets. The NxLite L80 can also be applied to glass as thin as 0.5 mm, enabling customers to integrate advanced energy-saving features into a broader and more innovative product range, including windows, insulated glass, commercial refrigeration equipment, and vehicles. The NxLite L80 boasts high visible light transmittance (Tvis) and high color fidelity, characteristic of top-tier silver-based coatings, along with unique outdoor stability that allows its use on surfaces exposed to the environment. Unlike other sputter coatings, the NxLite L80 can be used for single-layer applications, eliminating long-standing technological barriers for manufacturers.
