Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Further Regulation of New Energy Vehicle Industry Competition Order

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the State Administration for Market Regulation held a symposium on the new energy vehicle industry to deploy further regulations on the competition order in the sector. Li Lecheng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended and spoke at the meeting, while Xin Guobin, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister, presided over the meeting. Leaders from 17 key automotive enterprises, automotive industry associations, and relevant local industrial and information authorities participated in the meeting. The meeting emphasized that industry enterprises must align their thoughts and actions with the decisions of the Party Central Committee, earnestly implement the spirit of the State Council's executive meeting, and effectively promote the healthy and sustainable development of the industry. Key points include enhancing supervision and inspection, establishing long-term mechanisms, strengthening standard leadership, and promoting industry self-discipline to create a positive and orderly development environment.
