Mercedes-Benz has officially released spy shots of its upcoming VLE model. This new pure electric vehicle will replace the current V-Class and is built on the new VAN.EA platform. It supports 800V architecture and offers both front-wheel and all-wheel drive options, accommodating up to 8 passengers. The vehicle is set to be introduced to the Chinese market in the future. Additionally, a more luxurious VLS model will be launched following the VLE. The official details are still limited, but the spy shots reveal a fully closed front grille, flanked by headlight units and a honeycomb-patterned lower grille. The vehicle features a sloping windshield that flows smoothly into a gently sloping roof, with an overall waistline higher than the current V-Class and a more compact window section. Furthermore, the new model will include hidden door handles. Not many details are visible at the rear, but it is noted that the vehicle will have a small spoiler and vertically arranged taillights, with specific designs awaiting the production model. It is reported that the VLE will be built on an 800V architecture and will utilize the latest version of the Mercedes operating system (MBOS). Although official information is sparse, it was mentioned that two prototype vehicles traveled from Stuttgart to Rome, covering 1090 kilometers with only two 15-minute charging stops.
