Recently, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automotive Sales Co., Ltd. submitted a recall plan to the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the 'Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products' and its implementation measures. The following vehicles are being recalled: 1. Recall No. S2025M0102V: Starting from June 30, 2025, a total of 21 imported GLE and GLS models produced between August 30, 2024, and September 6, 2024, will be recalled. Some vehicles in this recall range may have used incorrect windshield adhesive during production, which could cause the multi-functional camera and interior rearview mirror to detach from the front windshield, limiting some functions of the driving assistance system and increasing the risk of collision, posing a safety hazard. Mercedes-Benz (China) Automotive Sales Co., Ltd. will replace the front windshield free of charge through authorized dealers to eliminate this safety risk. 2. Recall No. S2025M0106V: Starting from June 27, 2025, two imported EQS SUVs produced between September 22, 2022, and October 7, 2022, will be recalled. The vehicles involved in this recall have a software deviation in the panoramic sunroof control unit, which can cause excessive clamping force when the sunroof is closing from the tilted position, presenting a safety hazard. Mercedes-Benz (China) Automotive Sales Co., Ltd. will install a cover strip for the rear part of the panoramic sunroof free of charge through authorized dealers to eliminate this safety issue. The company will notify affected vehicle owners of this recall via registered mail and other means. Users can call the service hotline at 400-818-1188 for inquiries (service is available 24/7). Additionally, they can visit the recall center website of the State Administration for Market Regulation at www.samrdprc.org.cn or www.recall.org.cn, or follow the WeChat public account (SAMRDPRC) for more information and to report defect clues.
