Land Rover Defender OCTA Black Edition Officially Unveiled
The official images of the Land Rover Defender OCTA Black Edition have been released, showcasing its blacked-out body that enhances its unique visual appeal. The Defender OCTA can be seen as a high-performance variant of the Defender, equipped with a 4.4L V8 mild hybrid powertrain generating a maximum power of 635 horsepower. Externally, the vehicle features Narvik Black paint, touted as the 'purest black in Defender paint,' covering over 30 components including bumpers, recovery hooks, exhaust pipes, wheels, and brake calipers, achieving an integrated 'blacked-out' look. It also boasts exclusive design elements such as wide wheel arches, quad exhausts, and carbon fiber accents to intensify its aggressive appearance. In terms of dimensions, the new model is 68mm wider and 28mm taller, with increased ground clearance, paired with 33-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires for significantly enhanced off-road capability. The interior continues the 'blacked-out' theme, with black designs for the steering wheel, seats, dashboard, and center console, complemented by environmentally friendly Ultrafabrics and carbon fiber trim, balancing luxury with a sporty feel. The powertrain includes a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 mild hybrid engine, delivering a peak torque of 750 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
