Infineon Launches Third Generation XENSIV™ 3D Magnetic Hall Effect Sensors

On July 10, Infineon Technologies AG launched its third generation of XENSIV™ 3D magnetic Hall effect sensors, consisting of three product series: TLE493D-W3B6-Bx, TLE493D-P3B6, and TLE493D-P3I8. Developed in accordance with the ISO26262 standard, this sensor series offers integrated diagnostic functions and supports functional safety applications up to ASIL-B. With their high flexibility, these devices are well-suited for various industrial, consumer electronics, and automotive applications, such as long-stroke linear position measurement, angular position measurement, automotive control, and pedal or valve position sensing. In automotive applications, they utilize three-dimensional measurement capabilities and high-temperature resistance to enable control within the cabin and under the hood.
