Recently, Car Quality Network learned from relevant sources that Honda has released images of the all-new Prelude model and disclosed some specifications. The new car is positioned as a GT coupe and shares the same chassis as the Honda Civic Type R, promising excellent handling and sports performance. In terms of design, the overall appearance of the new vehicle is both sporty and futuristic. The prominent large-mouth grille at the front, combined with the vent design between the headlights and the black front bumper, exudes a strong combat vibe. The headlights feature a C-shaped design with elongated LED light strips that are quite iconic. The side profile of the car showcases smooth lines, with a concave treatment below the door panels to enhance aerodynamic performance. Through the dark multi-spoke sport wheels, large Brembo brake calipers are visible, ensuring sufficient braking power during spirited driving. The rear design is very futuristic, with a continuous taillight design and the Honda badge, reminiscent of Porsche’s style. Inside, the vehicle adopts a family design with many similarities to the Civic, featuring simulated paddle shifters and an S+ driving mode button to enhance the sporty experience. Powering the new Prelude is a hybrid system consisting of an engine and dual motors, with a combined horsepower expected to exceed 300 Ps. Coupled with the same dual-axis front suspension system as the Honda Civic Type R, the overall chassis rigidity of the vehicle is significantly upgraded. The new car is expected to hit overseas markets this fall, and Car Quality Network will continue to monitor and report on more information about this new model.
