Geely Unveils New Model Xingyao 6 with 1.5L Engine

On July 16, the latest model information for Geely's Xingyao 6 has been revealed through the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s directory. This new vehicle is expected to be equipped with the next-generation Thor EM-i super hybrid system, promising impressive fuel economy. The disclosed design sketches show a fresh design style leaning towards sporty attributes. Specifically, the car features a shield-shaped front grille with vertical elements, paired with sleek headlight clusters and a three-section air intake at the bottom, enhancing its sporty appearance. From the side view, a prominent character line runs from the front light eyebrow to the rear light, complemented by a rich line design on the doors, giving the side profile a spacious look. Notably, the car does not adopt hidden door handles. At the rear, it features a continuous taillight assembly with a rich structure on both sides, along with silver diffuser plates at the bottom for a dynamic look. In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4806mm in length, 1886mm in width, and 1490mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2756mm. Power-wise, it will be equipped with a 1.5L engine, generating a maximum power of 82 kW. Based on the reference model Galaxy A7, the fuel consumption under CLTC conditions is 2.67L/100km, with a total range exceeding 2100 kilometers when fully fueled and charged, and an electric-only range of 70/150 kilometers.
