On July 23, the new Geely Boyue was officially unveiled. As a mid-term facelift model, the new car features adjustments to its exterior and interior, with the Flyme Auto cockpit system standard across all variants. The new model is expected to launch officially in August.
In terms of appearance, the front face has undergone significant changes, primarily with a reduced grille size that now includes 12 chrome decorations, making it more fashionable and grand compared to the current model. Additionally, the headlight design has been toned down, resembling the Boyue L, which aligns better with mainstream aesthetics.
The side design has not changed much, retaining a dynamic and smooth roofline. Notably, the new model has a wheelbase of 2707mm, which is an increase of 6mm compared to the current version. The rear maintains a strong mechanical style with a roof spoiler and dual exhausts, effectively creating a sporty atmosphere.
Inside, the new model features significant changes with a switch from the vertical central screen of the current model to a floating horizontal design, offering a more visually appealing experience. Moreover, the Flyme Auto cockpit system is standard across all variants, supporting multi-tasking mode with small windows, gesture control, full voice control, version 810 of Amap, and AI intelligent interaction, greatly enhancing the user experience.
In terms of power, the new model continues to use a 1.5T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing a maximum power of 133kW and a peak torque of 290N·m, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, with a fuel consumption of 6.44L/100km under WLTC conditions. More updates about the new car will be continuously reported by Chezhijia.
