FAW Toyota bZ5 Officially Launched with Prices Ranging from 129,800 to 159,800 Yuan
On June 10, 2025, FAW Toyota officially launched the bZ5, positioned as the 'Toyota Super Sense Space Capsule.' The new model is available in four versions: 550 JOY, 550 PRO, 550 PRO Intelligent Version, and 630 PRO, with prices set at 129,800 yuan, 139,800 yuan, 159,800 yuan, and 159,800 yuan respectively (including manufacturer policies). Customers can also enjoy up to 38,000 yuan in integrated value benefits. Each of the four versions interprets the 'Five-Dimensional Core Value' that was revealed during a technology launch event in Shanghai in April. This includes full-angle aesthetics, comprehensive safety, all-terrain driving assistance, immersive intelligent cabin, and guaranteed QDR (Quality, Durability, Reliability). The entry-level 550 JOY is equipped with impressive features, including a CLTC range of 550 km and a powerful 200 kW motor. Its advanced intelligent cabin boasts a smooth 15.6-inch central touchscreen that connects seamlessly with 5G smartphones and includes AI voice control. Comfort features are abundant, such as a 1.44 square meter panoramic sunroof, a 3,300-watt V2L external power function, and a PM2.5 + CN95 air filtration system ensuring fresh air inside the car. Practical configurations like heated folding side mirrors and keyless entry are also included. The BGM high-definition reversing image system makes parking easy for new drivers. The 550 PRO, one of the main selling models, pushes safety to the extreme. It features an in-car biological monitoring system that can detect if a child is left in the vehicle, activating hazard lights and horn within 10 seconds and automatically turning on the air conditioning within five minutes, all while notifying the user via a mobile app. The 550 PRO also includes impressive upgrades such as 21-inch oversized wheels, LED front ambient lights, and multi-layer soundproofing on the windshield. The intelligent cabin supports over 200 apps, with a nearly borderless 15.6-inch touchscreen. Advanced features like a digital key and Face ID unlock add to its technological appeal, along with Toyota's TSS safety systems and additional parking assistance functions. The 550 PRO Intelligent Version is equipped with a comprehensive Toyota Pilot smart driving assistance system that covers urban, highway, and parking scenarios, featuring top-tier hardware configurations. The 630 PRO is designed for long-distance travelers, offering an additional 80 km of range and thoughtful features like an electric tailgate with memory function. All versions embody a futuristic design philosophy, merging technological aesthetics with sporty beauty, while ensuring top-notch safety standards. The bZ5 represents a milestone in FAW Toyota's localization strategy and is seen as a symbol of the 'New Joint Venture Power' initiative, aiming to cater to a new generation of consumers who prioritize safety and originality in their vehicles.
