Faraday Future's FX Super One MPV Receives Over 10,000 Pre-Orders

On July 28, Faraday Future (FF) announced that its FX Super One MPV received over 10,000 paid pre-orders on the day of its launch on July 17. The model represents a new category of First-Class EAI-MPV, addressing three major pain points for American users: traditional minivans have large space but poor performance and safety, lacking a luxury experience; while the Cadillac offers luxury, it is constrained by its traditional SUV structure, making it heavy and adversely affecting the driving experience and space utilization. Both types of vehicles have minimal AI capabilities, remaining stuck in the previous era. Moreover, the company stated that the Super One embodies an intelligent automotive life form, redefining the relationship between car and owner from passive control to mutual understanding and collaboration. It features comprehensive intelligent active safety capabilities, with a body structure made of high-strength steel combined with an all-time electric four-wheel drive system and an AI risk prediction engine, ensuring a safer travel experience. Additionally, the Super One achieves AI luxury and ultimate comfort akin to that of a 'private club,' breaking boundaries and creating a new benchmark for luxury and comfort. FF aims to infuse the core values of its $300,000 FF 91 into the FX Super One, offering extreme value for its cost and usage. The FX Super One was officially unveiled on July 18, alongside the start of consumer pre-orders. In terms of appearance, the FX Super One features a futuristic design with a front grille that does not use a traditional cooling grille but instead is a single LED display that can be customized to show any pattern, referred to as the 'Super EAI F.A.C.E. design,' where F.A.C.E stands for Front AI Communication Ecosystem. At the rear, the FX Super One is equipped with a continuous taillight group and vertically arranged LED lights on both sides, giving it a very fashionable overall shape. Inside, the new vehicle adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, with the second row featuring dual zero-gravity seats that offer massage, ventilation, and heating functions, while the rear maintains a ceiling entertainment screen.
