Recently, it has been reported that BMW's M division has released images of a new track performance package for the BMW M2. The exterior is more aggressive, and it offers improved aerodynamics to help drivers enhance their track performance. Although the front and rear of the vehicle have some camouflage, the overall design can still be discerned from the images. The front features a sharp and wide splitter that gives it a more aggressive look, and the engine hood has prominent creases that emphasize its muscular appearance. The side profile includes extensive body cladding that complements the front splitter, creating a cohesive look. At the rear, the prominent ducktail spoiler not only enhances the visual appeal but also provides additional downforce at high speeds. The rear bumper is blacked out and features quad exhausts, highlighting its sporty character. While official details on the powertrain have not been disclosed, it is likely to still feature a straight-six engine. However, the chassis tuning and braking system are set to receive special upgrades for track performance. This package is expected to launch next year, and more information will be reported by the media.
