Recently, it was confirmed by Car Quality Network that Audi will launch a brand new concept car at the Munich Motor Show in September. The new vehicle is positioned as a pure electric sports car, internally referred to as 'TT Moment 2.0'. However, it is not a successor to the Audi TT, but rather a completely new model that sits between the TT and the R8. From previously leaked concept images, the new car's overall design combines elements from both the Audi TT and the Porsche 718. The front is expected to feature a large honeycomb grille, with headlights resembling those of the Porsche 718. Additionally, the new car may offer both hardtop and convertible versions to provide consumers with more options. In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle will be built on the PPE electric platform jointly developed by Porsche and Audi, utilizing an 800V architecture, and is expected to offer both single motor rear-wheel drive and dual motor all-wheel drive versions. Due to the bankruptcy of battery supplier Northvolt, the launch of the pure electric Porsche 718 has been pushed to 2027, which means that the production version of Audi's new concept car will also be delayed until after 2027. More updates regarding the new vehicle will be continuously reported by Car Quality Network.
