Zeekr 8X Spy Shots Leaked, Launching in Q4

Recently, spy shots of the Zeekr 8X have surfaced online. This large SUV is expected to differentiate itself from the Zeekr 9X, with a focus on off-road styling. The new model is set to launch in the fourth quarter. The front fascia of the Zeekr 8X is quite similar to that of the 9X, featuring a prominent 'big mouth' grille and headlights that are likely to share a similar design. The overall shape of the front continues to exhibit a boxy style. However, the new model will not adopt a floating roof design, presenting a smoother overall look, while still offering ample space behind the C-pillar, indicating it will likely be a three-row SUV. At the rear, the design of the taillights remains uncertain, but it appears that the back is more rounded. Inside, the central console features two handles, typical of off-road vehicles, and the central screen is expected to be a rectangular display, leaning towards an off-road aesthetic. In terms of powertrain, similar to the Zeekr 9X, it is expected to feature a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system with three motors, delivering a total output of 898 horsepower (660 kW), with the engine providing a maximum power of 279 horsepower (205 kW) and a CLTC pure electric range of 380 km.
