Xiaomi Meizu Reports Over 1.27 Million Flyme Auto Users by June 30
On July 14, Xiaomi Meizu announced that as of June 30, the total number of users in the Flyme Auto ecosystem has exceeded 1.27 million, with more than 100,000 new users added in June alone. Last month, on June 16, the cumulative sales of vehicles equipped with Flyme Auto surpassed 1.16 million units. Flyme Auto has integrated with 26 models from multiple brands including Lynk & Co, Galaxy, and Geely, with more brands and models in the pipeline. Since its establishment, Xiaomi Meizu has expanded into various sectors including smartphones, smart cars, self-developed operating systems, and wearable devices. The company has launched the new flagship Meizu 20 series smartphone, the boundaryless ecosystem Flyme 10, and the Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit operating system. Flyme Auto, released in March 2023, is designed specifically for the automotive sector, enabling seamless connectivity between mobile phones and cars, and supporting features such as boundaryless desktop, small window display, cross-device visibility, application relay, hardware sharing, mobile-assisted OTA updates, and UWB vehicle locating. In November 2023, Xiaomi Meizu officially launched the "Boundaryless Smart Travel Open Platform" to share the core capabilities of Flyme Auto with ecosystem partners. This platform allows car manufacturers to flexibly choose and integrate modular capabilities based on their needs, quickly enhancing the smart cockpit user experience. Additionally, Xiaomi Meizu stated that it plans to release Flyme Auto 2.0 this year, featuring a new design optimization, stronger AI foundation, and a wealth of connected car agent application scenarios, bringing more practical and user-friendly functionalities in driving experience and ecosystem expansion. Regarding overseas markets, since the announcement of the "Flyme Full Ecosystem Overseas Strategy," cars equipped with Flyme Auto have been exported to regions including the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Asia-Pacific. In the first quarter of 2025, it will also enter markets such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Australia.
