On July 22, 2025, the 8th Intelligent Assisted Driving Conference hosted by Gaishi Automotive concluded successfully in Shanghai. Currently, intelligent assisted driving technology has transitioned from conceptual ideas to deep application stages. The collaborative evolution of perception, decision-making, execution, and connectivity layers is reshaping the automotive industry landscape. In an era where AI technology is sweeping the globe and safety demands have become a lifeline for the industry, intelligent assisted driving is undergoing a crucial leap from quantitative to qualitative changes. With AI deeply empowering the sensitivity of the perception layer and intelligent judgment of the decision layer, the safety system acts as a precise armor, fortifying the foundation for technology implementation and driving the automotive industry toward a new ecology characterized by intelligence and connectivity. In this context, the conference featured four main sessions: AI End-to-End, Data and Computing Power, Perception Fusion, and Testing and Validation. Focusing on cutting-edge technology, participants explored topics from AI-driven end-to-end technological innovations to breakthroughs and challenges supported by data and computing power, as well as comprehensive testing and validation of intelligent assisted driving systems. Guests from academia, industry, and research discussed hot topics in the industry and explored safe and reliable commercialization paths for intelligent assisted driving. Special thanks were extended to the 32 ecological partners supporting the conference, including Hali Smart, QNX, TE Connectivity, Geometric Partners, Victor, Timac, Jishang Navigation, Kaixin Technology, 51Sim, and Jinmai Electronics.
