Recent spy shots of the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N interior have surfaced, showcasing the high-performance version of the IONIQ 6. The vehicle will feature the N e-shift sound simulation and N Drift Optimizer drift mode, similar to the IONIQ 5 N. It will also be equipped with the same powertrain and all-wheel drive system as the IONIQ 5 N, achieving a maximum power output of 650 horsepower. The official debut is scheduled for the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 10. The interior design remains largely consistent with the IONIQ 6, featuring a dual-screen setup with streaming rearview mirrors and an overall minimalist design. Notable changes include new sports seats and a three-spoke steering wheel, which incorporates blue driving mode buttons and a red NGB mode button, mirroring the configuration of the IONIQ 5 N. The major upgrade focuses on the chassis system, which has been redesigned for improved suspension geometry, lowering the center of gravity while enhancing steering feel. Additionally, it comes equipped with new electronically controlled dampers for a better balance between comfort and sporty handling. The vehicle is expected to maintain a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, with the IONIQ 5 N's maximum output being 609 horsepower and peak torque at 740 Nm, achieving 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. In e-N driving mode (NGB), the power can be boosted to 650 horsepower, with peak torque rising to 770 Nm, reducing the 0-100 km/h time to 3.4 seconds.
