SAIC MG has officially released images of its latest model, the MG4 EV. This vehicle marks the first entry in MG's new energy strategy and features the latest family design style, along with the MG×OPPO intelligent vehicle connectivity system. Pre-orders for the car will begin on August 5, with a launch expected on September 5.
The released official images show that the new MG4 EV inherits the electric design genes from the Cyberster concept car, featuring a unified closed front design with split LED light groups and aerodynamic air intakes on either side of the front bumper, creating a sporty overall look. The vehicle is offered in a unique 'East Purple' color, which combines metallic and pearlescent paint techniques for a more premium appearance.
The side profile of the car showcases a three-segment waistline design, complemented by new double five-spoke wheels and traditional mechanical door handles, further enhancing its athletic feel. The rear of the car features a continuous taillight design, with arrow-shaped LED light strips embedded in the light group, echoing the high-mounted brake light for a richer visual effect.
In terms of performance, prior application information indicates that the new model will be equipped with a TZ180XS1001 high-efficiency drive motor, producing a maximum power of 120 kW and a top speed of 160 km/h, along with a more stable lithium iron phosphate battery pack. More information about the new car will be continuously monitored and reported by Chezhijia.
