Roewe M7 DMH Debuts as First Mass-Produced Model by Former Rolls-Royce Designer
The Roewe M7 DMH, the first mass-produced model created by former Rolls-Royce designer Joseph Kaban after joining SAIC, has made its debut. Positioned as a high-end large national car, the M7 DMH boasts a class-leading pure electric range of 160 km, unique features such as the world's only welcoming light carpet, exclusive latex-feel cloud wing seats, and a panoramic sofa seat with a horizontal folding mode. It also incorporates cutting-edge AI voice technology, offering families a comprehensive experience of design, comfort, and intelligence, thereby redefining the benchmark for national cars. The design of the Roewe M7 DMH follows the 'Pearl' concept, emphasizing confidence and elegance with its spacious and stable body proportions and a dignified waterfall front grille. Details like the vector light crystal daytime running lights, 3D floating tail lights, and exclusive 'ROEWE' breathing light logo enhance the vehicle's premium feel and recognition, providing users with a unique sense of ceremony and luxury. With nearly 5 meters in length, the M7 DMH offers nearly first-class comfort for all passengers. Its administrative dimensions include a width of 1890 mm, height of 1510 mm, and a wheelbase of 2820 mm, creating a leading internal space in its class. The spacious cabin features a front seat cushion length of 511 mm, surpassing benchmark models, with rear knee room reaching a class-leading 126 mm, ensuring comfort for every passenger. The 527L trunk easily accommodates family luggage, complemented by 28 flexible storage spaces throughout the vehicle. Additionally, the M7 DMH is equipped with the only latex-feel cloud wing seats in its class, featuring premium Ultra Touch skin-friendly materials and SurFlex® slow-rebound foam for a mousse-like enveloping experience. Other comfort features include soft backrest padding in the rear and heated seats and steering wheel, enhancing overall passenger comfort. The innovative driver’s one-touch reclining function and the passenger seat's unique horizontal folding mode transform the cabin into a spacious resting area, catering to user needs during work breaks or long drives. The M7 DMH introduces an intelligent cockpit experience through a leading AI voice model, which significantly improves voice assistant capabilities in understanding context, generalization, and multi-intent parsing. It can accurately capture user demands and integrate voice commands to operate corresponding apps. For connectivity, the M7 DMH is compatible with major smartphone brands, including Huawei, OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Apple, supporting seamless app transfer to the vehicle without any learning curve. The Roewe M7 DMH will be powered by a new-generation DMH super hybrid system, offering a class-leading pure electric range of 160 km and a comprehensive range of up to 2050 km. Roewe continuously listens to user feedback and embeds their needs into product technology. The arrival of the M7 DMH reflects the brand's insight into users' rational and refined consumption habits. The new car is expected to officially launch in the second half of this year, so stay tuned.
