Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the 'Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products' and its implementation measures. The recall, numbered S2025M0116V, affects 1,248 units of the Panamera and Taycan series vehicles produced between December 19, 2024, and April 30, 2025. The affected vehicles may have manufacturing issues where the front shock absorber retaining ring is not fully seated in its groove, potentially leading to air leakage in the air shock absorber, which could impact vehicle handling and increase the risk of a collision, posing a safety hazard. Porsche (China) will authorize dealers to inspect the installation of the retaining ring and perform repairs if necessary to eliminate safety risks. Affected owners will be notified via registered mail. Authorized dealers will also proactively contact users to arrange for free recall repairs. Users can visit the official website of Porsche (China) or call the customer service hotline at 400-820-5911 for more details on the recall. Additionally, they can visit the recall center websites of the market regulation administration at www.samrdprc.org.cn and www.recall.org.cn, or follow the WeChat public account (SAMRDPRC) for more information and to report defect clues.
