New Generation Audi A6L Test Spy Photos Leaked

New Generation Audi A6L Test Spy Photos Leaked
Recently, a set of test spy photos of the domestically-produced new generation Audi A6L has been obtained. According to previous plans, the new car is expected to be officially released in 2026. The overseas version of the new generation Audi A6 sedan was officially unveiled in April of this year. From the spy photos, it can be seen that the new car retains the design style of the overseas model, with a noticeable lengthening beyond the B-pillar. The front face of the new car is in a low disguise state, revealing that it is almost identical to the overseas version, including the large hexagonal grille, headlight, and fog light area design. It is expected that the domestically-produced new Audi A6L will also retain features such as digital signature headlights. From the side view, the new car features a new style of multi-spoke wheel design while still maintaining the semi-hidden door handle design. Additionally, it's clear that the rear door size has been significantly lengthened, and the design of the rear quarter window seems to have some detail adjustments. The rear of the car is expected to continue the design of the overseas model. Notably, the overseas version of the new Audi A6 sedan has a drag coefficient of only 0.23, so it will be interesting to see how this affects the drag coefficient of the domestically produced long-wheelbase version. For reference, the overseas new generation Audi A6 will be equipped with a new 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder engine (maximum power of 150 kW, maximum torque of 340 Nm) and a 3.0 TFSI six-cylinder engine (maximum power of 270 kW, maximum torque of 550 Nm). Additionally, there is a 48V motor that can provide an extra output of 18 kW.
