McLaren W1 Debuts at Goodwood Festival of Speed with Limited Edition
On July 10, McLaren's new flagship supercar, the McLaren W1, made its public debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The vehicle is limited to just 399 units worldwide, all of which have already been reserved. The McLaren W1 features a completely new design style, with sharp headlight shapes and an exaggerated aerodynamic kit that gives the front a highly aggressive look. Details include an active front spoiler driven by two electric motors that allow for arc-shaped movements to enhance aerodynamic performance. The W1 employs an Anhedral gullwing door design that turns heads, and it also features the McLaren Aerocell carbon fiber monocoque structure, exuding a sense of latent power. At the rear, the W1 is equipped with a large rear diffuser and an active long-tail spoiler that can extend up to 300mm, generating downforce of up to 1000kg. In terms of power, the McLaren W1 is powered by a 4.0T V8 hybrid system that produces a total of 1275Ps and a peak torque of 1340N·m, allowing it to travel 2km in pure electric mode. Additionally, the W1 features a McLaren track mode, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 2.7 seconds. More detailed information about the new car will be continuously reported by CheZhi.com.
