On July 21, it was reported that JD.com has completed investments in three leading companies in the field of embodied intelligence. Among them, Qianxun Intelligent completed a Pre-A+ round financing of 600 million yuan, led by JD; LimX Dynamics secured a new round of financing, with JD as the strategic lead investor, aiming to deepen collaboration in retail, logistics, and services; and Zhongqing Robotics completed two rounds of financing, with the A1 round led by JD. Specifically, on July 21, Qianxun Intelligent announced the completion of nearly 600 million yuan in Pre-A+ round financing, with JD leading the investment alongside notable institutions like the China Internet Investment Fund, Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Innovation Fund, Huatai Zijing, and Fosun Ruizheng. On the same day, LimX Dynamics announced a new round of financing led by JD, continuing its push towards mass production and sales of full-size humanoid robots, research and development of embodied large model technology, and construction of the IDS ecological platform. This financing will deepen the collaboration between LimX Dynamics and JD in retail, logistics, and services. Additionally, Zhongqing Robotics announced the completion of two rounds of financing, with the Pre-A++ round initiated by Xinghang Capital, founded by XPeng Motors as a cornerstone investor. The A1 round was led by JD, with participation from CATL's Puxian Capital, Intime Group, and various financial investors including Huakong Fund, Dacheng Caizhi's Guochen Fund, and Huangpujiang Capital, alongside active participation from existing shareholders like Zhongdong Capital, Guoxiang Capital, Honghui Fund, Xunshang Venture Capital, and Baohe Venture Capital. In response to this concentrated investment in three robotics companies, JD stated that it places great importance on technological hotspots, including embodied intelligence and large models, focusing on supply chain scenarios to promote innovative applications. JD continues to build a technological innovation ecosystem through internal technological innovations and external investments to create value for industries and consumers.
